We are looking for a Financial Control Manager to join our Financial Accounting and Reporting team. Reporting into the Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting (HoFRA), this role is responsible for controlling central accounting within the Financial Accounting function; which includes liaising with sites where appropriate, preparing monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, and ensuring group policies are updated and adhered to for the relevant areas. This role has full ownership of the Central profit centre P&L and Balance Sheet along with accounting for customer rebate balances.

What will I be doing?

As a financial Control Manager you will be:

Managing Financial Accounting for Central function, comprising;

Managing and developing Central area of Financial Accounting, ensuring tasks critical to these areas are covered daily, weekly, quarterly and on an ad hoc basis as required, and that any relevant reports are produced

Taking ownership of Rebates accrual balance (GL 213300), ensuring that the rebate accrual position is understood and appropriate.

Owning and developing group policies for the relevant areas, and ensure these are adhered to.

What does good look like?

The successful candidate will display high levels of accuracy and attention to detail with good presentation skills. They will be team orientated, have excellent technical knowledge of accounts processes and preferably experience in SOX. They will be ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent and have strong excel knowledge.
