An exciting opportunity has come up within our Despatch team for two General Operatives working either a early or late shift (Monday – Friday, either 05:30 – 14:00 or 14:00 – 22:30). In this role the successful applicants will work as part of a team undertaking a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Safe and efficient use of a Mechanical Handling Equipment on site (Pallet truck, Forklift)

Using internal computer systems to create and scan pick sheets from sales orders

Checking and creating delivery notes

Creating necessary paperwork

Using internal systems, to book in incoming stock via arolink and complete receipt paperwork as required

Complete technical paperwork as covered by the scope of the role

Deal with external drivers where necessary

Use own initiative to solve problems around the site

Follow loading plan and cross stock plan, ensuring all stock is loaded correctly

Stock check/Stock adjustments

Successful candidates will have the following skills:

Basic computer literacy (Ideally with SAP background)

Candidates will need a ‘can do’ approach and must be able to handle working in a fast paced environment.
