General Operative – Hygiene

We are recruiting for full time Operatives to work in our Hygiene Department at our Westerleigh site who are keen to learn new skills, are focused and driven. If you feel that this describes you, we want to hear from you! We are looking to invest into people, providing role specific training to progress enthusiastic candidates up through the business.

Reporting to the Hygiene Manager, successful candidates will work with the Hygiene team to clean production and packing areas. They will be responsible for cleaning specified production equipment and complying with the Health, Safety and Hygiene Regulations at all times.The operators will need to be flexible and use a variety of skills, understanding quality, product and safety requirements and be able to handle non routine situations which may arise.

Successful candidates will have the following skills:

Previous factory cleaning experience an advantage

Ability to work independently

Practical / manual handling skills

Basic H&S awareness

COSHH

Ability to learn and be trained in required skills

Team Working

Problem Solving

Candidates will need a ‘can do’ approach and must be able to handle working in a fast paced environment.

The vacancies are full time on a regular shift pattern across a 38.75 hour week. Actual times worked may vary depending on the area of work and specific shift.
