Delivering business success through our people
We are looking to recruit an Operator within our Goods In department who will play a key role in maintaining an efficient running of the department. The site is operational 5 days a week; therefore a flexible approach is a must to ensure that a consistent level of service is provided to all departments and shifts. Your duties will include;
Ensure that products are checked against the required quality standards and they meet specifications.
Organise own work activities
Carry out a range of manual tasks and activities and ensure all tasks are finished within permitted time frames.
To ensure all documentation, manual tasks and activities are completed.
Set up, changeover and operate machinery and other equipment in the area within standard operating procedures to achieve required outputs and quality.
Check and monitor processes making recommendations for any adjustments necessary to achieve product and process specification.
Help solve problems and make suggestions for improvement so that better ways of doing jobs are identified and implemented.
To have full understanding of Arolink systems.
Accurately weighing, labelling and stock rotating all stock levels.
Stock rotation. Weekly/monthly stocktake to ensure accurate stock levels.
To work as part of a team and operate more complex machinery and equipment
Report faults so they can be put right quickly to keep downtime to a minimum
The successful applicant will have the following:
Ability to work independently
Practical/manual handling skills
