We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant at the Pilgrims UK Westerleigh Site. Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that daily administrative tasks are completed within agreed timescales.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, aiding in the administration of the absence monitoring system, including taking calls from the company absence line, processing return to work forms, requesting absence counselling and preparing paperwork for absence meetings. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing new starter documentation and processing reference requests, providing administrative support to the Occupational Health referral scheme and the preparation of data for KPI reporting. The successful candidate will also make arrangements for, and provide support to, meetings related to absence management, performance management, misconduct or grievance meetings and keep accurate records of any such meetings.

Applicants should have good customer service skills, excellent attention to detail be computer literate and have the ability to work unsupervised whilst maintaining appropriate confidentiality with information relating to the Company and its employees.
