A vacancy has arisen for a HR Officer on a FTC based at our Linton site; it is anticipated the placement will be for approximately 12 months. Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the HR team to provide hands on HR support to the site ensuring legal compliance and HR best practice is applied in all areas.

The successful candidate will ensure all employee relations issues are dealt with appropriately including attendance at disciplinary and grievance meetings with members of the site management team, offering procedural and legal guidance and escalating issues to the HR Manager as appropriate. You will be able to effectively and appropriately deal with confidential and sensitive correspondence relating to matters such as occupational health, capability, long term absence, disciplinary or other formal management actions as well as provide relevant management information and reports on these and other issues in a timely and accurate manner. The successful candidate will also take an active role in the management of the occupational health provision including case management and provide general support to the HR Manager as well as other ad hoc duties as required in this diverse and fast paced role.

About You!

The successful candidate will ideally be part/full CIPD qualified and have previous experience in a HR generalist role, ideally in a similar fast paced environment. Strong IT skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is excellent attention to detail and the ability to be a confident forward thinker.
