We have an exciting opportunity for a Hygiene Supervisor who will support our Bromborough site, working with the Hygiene Manager to coordinate all cleaning schedules, ensuring all documentation and safe storage are maintained.

The following are key requirements for this role;

To provide on-going support to operatives to help them attain necessary skills and ensuring teamwork is continually promoted.
Conform to Health and Safety Requirements as laid out by the Company – taking accountability and responsibility for own safety and of others
Effectively manage staff and ensuring they are trained in the procedures required
Assist with the training of employees and new starters as directed.
Responsible for hygiene standards in the High Risk, Low Risk and Packing Areas
To ensure all necessary hygiene safety checks/cleaning records are completed by the hygiene operatives.
Effectively manage team to achieve cleaning plan within agreed timescales.
Complete all Hygiene related compliance to ensure that the department is ready for customer audits
Support and seek opportunities within any projects to reduce waste, maximize recycling and reduction of the carbon footprint of the site.
To act as deputy for the Hygiene Manager.

Our ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of hygiene in the food industry, site machinery and the hygiene requirements of a food factory environment, along with a working knowledge of the Holchem Gateway System, Environmental & ATP swabbing validation and Chemical titration testing. Previous chemical training, COSHH L2 and L2 Basic Food Hygiene are essential requirements for this role. Communication skills are a must as you will be liaising with your team and other line managers regularly.
