The Quality Assurance Key Op is accountable for communications with QAS and to ensure effective monitoring, recording and corrective actioning of all production line processes. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all the require Technical, Quality, Specification and Food safety standards, policies and health & safety procedures are always adhered to. Checking equipment is fit for purpose and supporting the QAS, Process Controllers and line leaders in their role within the business.

Day to Day factory-based Supervising of the QA team, all aspects i.e., RTW, Holidays, assign daily and weekly activities, manage workload, assign QA’s with specific tasks and audits on a weekly basis as well as monthly.

Check and audit all process documentation to ensure this is completed correctly and in accordance with the site procedures.

Audit and record findings of inspections and report any non-conformances.

Ensure that products meet costumers and internal specifications.

Sign off customer samples to ensure specification and quality is met as well as managing tasting panels activities, ensuring customer requirements are met for existing new sku’s, participating in benchmarking and complete follow-up as required.

Ensure all QA’s and key skill staff performing CCP’s have the correct training and providing training to the QA team.

Carry out traceability’s as required and being able to provide traceability training.

Conduct RCA’s and to write accurate reports (e.g., customer complaints, product withdrawals, feedstock issues etc), agree corrective actions and ensure these are closed out within the agreed timelines. (5why’s, fish bone within others)
