We have an exciting opportunity at the Dalehead Foods Spalding Site, for a Maintenance Manager to effectively lead the maintenance teams and external contractors employed to service and maintain our Abattoir, Primal Cut, Butchery and Packing operations.

You will effectively manage all site and legislative requirements for equipment, pressure systems and lifting equipment as well as providing detailed reports on asset performance and maintaining accurate maintenance records, ensuring financial controls and departmental systems and processes are followed and meet all internal / external audit requirements.

This fantastic role will give you the chance to run operations (to include machinery and equipment) to its full potential and to achieve maximum capacity, with minimal downtime. You will be a key member of the project team in delivery of capital investment and efficiency improvements in agreed timescales.

A degree/HND or equivalent in an Engineering related subject is essential combined with previous engineering experience of FMCG with food related manufacturing operations being advantageous. You will furthermore have a proven track record of managing large teams and diverse technical and engineering activities.

You will also have a sound knowledge of legislative and environmental controls relating to the safe use of plant and machinery and a proven track record in management and implementation of PPM based management systems and of continuous improvement tools and techniques.

Above all, you will have the ability to develop the skill within the team, have great communication skills and a proven record in development and leadership in a fast-moving environment.
