We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operational Excellence Business Analyst. Working together, with the Operational Excellence Specialist, you will be embedding and deploying various Operational Excellence tools and techniques to engage a culture of Operational Excellence supporting the change of culture and mindset to improve site performance.
A fully qualified accountant with experience in FMCG, you will have strong analytical skills along with excellent written and spoken communication skills, our preferred candidate will be a full member of the Operational Excellence team, attending team meetings and reviews supporting the financial requirements of that team through evaluation, analysis and commentary. Analysing the implementation of the Pilgrims Management Method in each of the sites, providing status updates of the management method implementation to the Head of Operational Excellence on a regular basis. You will frequently audit sites giving constructive formal / informal feedback and support, including agreed action plans.
Leading a team of Coordinators of Operational Excellence across our Dalehead sites, helping them in the implementation and execution of the management method tools and processes in their sites, you will also run gap analysis for all the business units, consolidating them in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual comparison reports, with analysis and identification of gaps and opportunities. You will conduct monthly reviews with the OE and the BU Management Teams, consolidating the gap analysis each month to have the horizontal (drivers) and vertical (plants) views and impacts to the business.
Our ideal candidate will play a lead role in business improvement decisions and provide direction, analysis and support, facilitating the use of business improvement tools through coaching and training when required. You will have strong technical skills and an aptitude for numbers. Proven experience of delivering and embedding CI processes in an operational environment as well as proven experience of change management including cultural change. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in providing analysis to optimise operational decision making and improvement opportunities. Travelling to all of our sites in the UK will form a part of this role.
