Operational Trainer

Mon – Fri – AM Shift 05.30 – 14.30

£12.06 per hour plus additional benefits

We are looking to recruit an Operational Trainers for our early shift:

To provide a professional training service to the Redruth site by delivering best practice training and support to all our employees. To assist the coordinating of training and development as identified through training needs analysis and course design.

You will work with Departmental Managers in achieving acceptable levels of trained competence whilst meeting compliance to Industry Standards.

You will be required to undertake multiple tasks, including the following;

Provide frontline training for all staff on site ensuring employees have the appropriate skills and knowledge to perform their duties.

Maintain standard operating procedures ensuring that food and personal safety are incorporated into it and are signed off by all staff.

Assist in annually producing a training needs analysis identifying the training needs of all factory floor operatives on site, working closely with Training Manager, HR Manager & Production Managers.

Assist in producing flexible training plan from the training need analysis addressing the training needs of all factory floor operatives on site.

Maintain records of all training delivered in a concise and orderly fashion. Providing the Training Manager and production managers with regular updates on training achieved.

Support the induction of new employees and working with new recruits both full time and agency.

Responsibility to ensure all employees that are required to carry out Critical Control Point (CCP) checks as part of their work are trained to undertake task to acceptable level.

Ensure training will be regularly carried out to ensure that all staff are trained in the most recent issue of the Critical Control point (CCP) documentation.

Makes recommendations to Training Manager regarding changes to policy and/or procedure.

Maintains consistency and develops continuous improvement process in all aspects of interface with personnel.

Support learners who may have specific needs and works creatively to overcome any barriers to learning.

Train the trainer/ instructional skills. (Must be willing to work towards Level 3 in education and training)
