We are looking for a Planning Assistant on a Fixed Term Contract for 9 months, to cover maternity leave at our Corsham site, Monday to Friday.

The candidate would support the planning department with various reports to allow for accurate day to day planning. They would be responsible for 3rd party orders – ensuring orders are on the system & maintained & working closely with operations to ensure orders are sent out to customers.

To complete daily Freemantle plans, working with departmental stake holders to ensure we are utilising cooking capacity.

Responsible for 3rd party orders, including communication with the customer & commercial colleagues, ensuring orders are showing within the SAP system, ensuring orders are added to the plans & ensuring orders are sent out in a timely manner.

Update multiple planning documents, required to ensure plans are accurate.

Email plan information to relevant departments for producing dry goods ordering.

Adhoc information gathering for Planning.

To complete daily High Risk plans.

To complete Low Care plans as and when required (holiday / sickness cover)

Communicate with suppliers regarding orders.

The job holder is responsible for actively encouraging all staff to immediately report any quality or food safety issues, assign reward for doing so (using the STAR Award process) and must be seen to take visible action and give feedback to the reportee on actions taken to address the raised issue.

The job holder will have signed the Corsham Quality and Food Safety Contract which will be an appendix to this role profile. This will be reviewed and signed annually.
