We are currently seeking a Production Planner to join our dedicated team in Operations.

Working in a fast paced, ever changing environment, we need your skills to help take us forward, come and join us.

You will be responsible for and required to undertake the following duties.

Create and issue production plan.

Plan and schedule daily /weekly plan

Plan in order to minimize changeovers maximise run lengths

Plan stock level to keep within maximum agreed life on product

Produce a daily raw material plan for 4 weeks ahead

Maintain 8 week rolling stock material forecast and an 18-month long term forecast.

Maintain and support excel spreadsheet to ensure up to date information in planning system

Produce stock build plans to ensure promotional volumes are achieved within the capacity available in the factory.

Monitor sales forecasts and challenge.

Provide holiday cover for planning department as instructed by the planning manager

Attend daily factory/SIC meetings.

Monitor and report factory performance

Provide labour figures

Provide holiday cover for the MRP when required

Manage residual/short life stock into the plan in accordance with product specification.

Perform other duties and projects as directed by the planning manager.

Have the ability to work as part of a team and deal professionally with internal and external customers is a must. Full training both internal and external will be given to meet the standards as set out by both the site and our customers. The successful candidate must have or be able to demonstrate:
