Hours: 40 hours per week.Saturday and Sunday: 06.00 – 18.00; Monday and Tuesday: 07.00 – 15.30.

Reporting to: Quality and Integrity Manager

Quality Auditor Role Profile: To ensure the maintenance and improvement of all site required Quality and Food Safety standards, legalities and procedures from raw materials to finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring compliance to the site swabbing and sampling schedules/procedures including investigating and supporting any issues/abnormalities.

Registering and submitting samples and swabs to the laboratory as per set schedules via assigned system.

Label Barcode Scanning and checks.

Gas and weight checks.

Undertake and record temperatures of air and products throughout the factory.

Metal Detection Checks and associated audits

Completing cooking/cooling graph and data checks

Setting up and conducting taste panels/product assessments against quality standards.

Completing investigations (Metal Finds and Foreign Body finds).

Conducting, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practice); BHP’s (Best Hygiene Practice) and G&G Like audits.

Completing Internal audits as per the assigned schedule.

Other duties as required by the Quality and Integrity Manager or Senior QA.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Basic Food Hygiene – essential.

Knowledge of the workings of the factory and factory systems/procedures – preferable.

HACCP Level 2, Intermediate Food Hygiene and Internal Auditor trained – preferable.

Competent in the use of Microsoft packages such as excel and word.

The ability to learn and use other computer systems such as ALS solutions, Holistech, P2D etc.

Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels and functions.

Able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

Team player with the ability to build strong relationships across all functions/departments.

Proactive and flexible with a positive attitude and able to work on own initiative.
