We are recruiting for an exciting new position of a Quality Lead. The Quality Lead will lead the Quality function within the factory to ensure quality and food safety focus is given. To support the Technical Systems and Site Development Manager with technical systems support. OPEX principles are to be included within typical ways of working.
Key Accountabilities:
Quality Lead:
Accountable for the day to day running of the Quality function on site
Accountable for successful quality related controls of product within the factory
Accountable for all internal calibration requirements
Accountable for arranging external calibration requirements
Accountable for successful completion of the GMP schedule
Accountable for successful completion of the scheduled glass and hard plastic audits
Accountable for all products to be routinely tested for shelf life and any other customer defined requirements
Accountable for managing and approving investigation outcomes from factory teams, or rejecting where required and providing support to make them acceptable
Responsible for validation exercises on all factory CCP’s
Responsible for ongoing reviews of production within the factory to ensure product meets specification and paperwork compliance is being adhered to, promoting a ‘right first time’ approach to production
Responsible for P2D system to ensure our M&S B2B customers can successfully export product
Responsible for monthly Support Attestations to ensure our other B2B customers can successfully export product
Responsible for ensuring successful export of product direct from the Bodmin site
Responsible for maintaining the Quor system
Responsible for technical department representation at Tier 1 meetings and other relevant factory meetings
Responsible for implementing and leading quality and quality culture meetings with the factory teams
Responsible for the site organoleptic assessment panel
Responsible for supporting the production team with quality related investigations, including non-conformance and complaint investigations
Technical Systems Support
Responsible for completing traceability exercises accurately and presenting clearly and concisely to relevant persons
Responsible for implementing new quality and technical standards within the production teams
Responsible for collating relevant budget information and summarising for relevant persons within the department
Support with new standard gap analysis and plans to close any gaps
Support improvements to the site QMS and implement changes where appropriate
Support with closing non-conformances from any external audits
Support supplier approval management including maintenance of approval documents and specifications
