Senior Administrator (Finance & Admin Dept)

(Maternity Cover min 12-month contract)

BQP is the largest pig producer in the UK working with over 350 partnership farmers to supply high welfare, quality pork products to premium markets. The Agricultural team based at Stradbroke in Suffolk is made up of our team of vets, fields staff, technical and support staff working together to ensure that our supply chain from beginning to end operates within the highest standards of welfare, quality and efficiency.

We are looking to recruit an individual to provide support and carry out administrative tasks in relation to the finance/administration team within the business; this is a fixed term contract to provide maternity cover and will continue for at least 12 months. Supporting the Finance and Administration Manager, you will assist in ensuring that finance/administrative processes are carried out in a timely manner and to the high level of accuracy required. Specific tasks will include:

Assisting with End of Batch Approvals,
Verifying Farmer Contracts with Payment Tables within Agrosoft,
Purchase Orders/Good Receipting ensuring old PO’s are receipted,
Ensuring payments have correct SOX Supporting Documentation,
Master Data – New Accounts ensuring correct documentation.

We are looking for:

A collaborative team player who enjoys working with data
Someone ideally with experience of Agrosoft or similar data management systems
Previous experience of working to tight deadlines within a busy admin function
Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and build strong working relationships with our farming community and internal teams
Analytical skills; the ability to think critically, research and solve problems
Attention to detail and strong time-management skills
Like interacting and explaining information to others
Ability to learn various administration operations in order to provide holiday cover.
