We have recently announced the creation of Pilgrim’s Shared Services, a fourth stand-alone company, which will bring together some of the support functions of our current three businesses (Moy Park, excluding France and Netherlands, Pilgrim’s UK & Pilgrim’s Food Masters). Its purpose is to deliver a high-quality shared service to those three businesses.
As the business grows, this shared service will broaden opportunities for career development as part of a far larger organisation. We will also continue our investment in technology to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working.
A dedicated Transactional Services team will be created to deliver a high-quality and cost-effective service to the Business Units. Reporting to the HR Director, we are pleased to advise that we are now recruiting for a Senior People Partner.
This role will hold overall responsibility and accountability for being a credible and proactive member of the PSSL Senior Leadership Team providing advice and guidance to ensure that the strategic HR Plans are achieved in PSSL and leading on HR initiatives to help build and establish PSSL as an employer of choice. Ensure compliance with all employment law, good practice, ethical, safety and Sox requirements and lead proactive engagement with the PSSL Executive and Senior Leadership Team, PSSL team members and the local communities.
What You’ll Need
A passion for HR excellence, fully demonstrated by a proven track record in a previous organisation.
Minimum of 6 years previous HR Manager level experience within the manufacturing industry or able to demonstrate having a proven comparable HR record.
Have a proven track record of improving operational efficiencies through managing cost & people development.
Previous involvement in organisational change and restructuring to meet business needs, customer needs and desire for continuous improvement.
Experience in leading and delivering HR projects initiatives linked to employer branding, engagement, retention, development, and employee experience
Good commercial and financial acumen
