We are currently looking for a talented Safety, Health and Environment Manager to join our team at Linton. This is an exciting position where you will be instrumental in supporting the site to drive Health, Safety and Environmental performance. Safety is a condition across our business so to continue to drive this culture the successful candidate will advise, guide and coach management on all matters relating to environment, health & safety; agree site action plans and monitor performance and ensure KPI’s are met and improvement projects at site and at group level supported. You will be integral to communicating and monitoring the delivery of the corporate strategy and support managers in the investigation of accidents and any dangerous occurrences, reporting findings where applicable. You will be responsible for all aspects of any RIDDOR processes as well as evaluating and identifying relevant training needs and liaising with key internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing and influencing positive changes within an organisation and actively support the ongoing development of a best practice Health & Safety culture across the site. Your ability to build strong working relationships at all levels as well as your communication and interpersonal skills must be second to none. Meticulous organisational skills are paramount as is your ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines. A NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) holder in Occupational Health & Safety is a minimum requirement for this role and systems knowledge specifically in Excel is essential. Previous experience in an FMCG environment is of benefit but not essential as full site training will be given.
