We are currently looking for a talented Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our team, at our Abattoir, Cutting/Butchery and Packing plant. This is an exciting position where you will be instrumental in supporting the site to drive Health, Safety and Environmental performance, via several different processes;

Cultural Safety Behavioral programs

Risk Assessments

Internal audits

Training

KPIs

You will have experience of managing, influencing and delivering positive changes within the organisation, supporting and endorsing the development of a Health & Safety culture across the site. You will work with all key stakeholders to develop and maintain a positive HSE culture.

A NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) holder in Occupational Health & Safety is a minimum requirement, as is an accredited certification from IEMA or NEBOSH in Environmental Management. Systems knowledge specifically in Excel is essential. Previous experience in an FMCG environment is of benefit but not essential as full site training will be given.

Your ability to build strong working relationships at all levels will be second to none, along with first class communication and interpersonal skills. Your meticulous organisational skills will prove invaluable along with your ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

You will also coach and develop a SHE team member who will assist you day-to-day, and will deputise in your absence.
