Following an internal promotion, we have a Site Director opportunity at our Ruskington site within Retail Packing. You will be accountable for Health and Safety, have full ownership of site financial contribution and ensuring all resources are efficiently deployed within the site. As a member of the Group leadership team you will also be responsible for delivering Group-wide objectives and or initiatives.

Responsible for the delivery of site optimum utilisation, growth plans and championing operational excellence, Lean and CI initiatives, your Site Director or General Manager experience, food knowledge, preferably with snacking products and your enthusiasm, innovative, simplistic forward-thinking approach, as well as your understanding of multi retailer expectations, will be highly advantageous. In addition, your passion for food, energy, confidence, and your hands-on approach will support your success.

Humility, trust, engagement and building strong relationships is equally very important to you. Your hunger for team success and your first-class people management skill, ability to implement change management, including cultural change, underpins your passion for people and ensures team members are effectively supported, feel engaged and trained and developed to the highest standards, mastering their success. Setting clear business performance objectives, creating a strong culture of involvement and sharing required competencies, utilising company agreed tools such as 360-degree feedback, 9 Box and coaching techniques will support your team members success and beyond. Proactively talent mapping for the future supporting internal promotion or through new hires will contribute to the success of the site.

Being available and working in collaboration with your site team and other key stakeholders ensuring all financials are rigorously maintained and controlled through effective approved financial systems and production processes will be imperative. Collectively you will Identify areas to reduce cost and maximise profit, controlling standard yield and labour variance, achieved through site optimisation and use of benchmarking techniques. In addition, you will be determined to seek out opportunities to proactively deliver significant multi-functional profit improvements. embracing operational excellence that will support site success and to be the best.
