We are pleased to be recruiting a new role of Technical Compliance Manager to support our Technical team at our retail packing site in Bromborough.

The main responsibilities of the role will be the continued development and integration of QUOR increasing process control, Product/Process improvement initiatives where yield or quality specifications are not meeting standards. Whilst working with our OPEX team to ensure all process improvements are fully compliant and supporting all departments to ensure launches are delivered to expectation.

Your day to day role will include you​

Driving continuous improvement within technical

Completing gap analyses against new or updated customer and certification standards ensuring the food safety and quality management systems are updated accordingly

Leading meetings for food safety and quality across all levels – incorporate the BTB Score (Be the best score) into a leadership board – continually evolving this once each focus is sustained

Completing manager cross department walks / audits

Holding monthly events for food safety (coffee shops) & annual day events for food safety & quality days

Delivering consistency panels with operations teams to look at various dates of products and drive quality improvement plans with line and area leaders

Investigate and root cause analyse incidents, near misses & complaint trends and implement SMART action plans using the operational excellence tool

Active member of the internal audit team and instrumental in ensuring that start up checks, fabrication audits and glass/hard plastics audits are delivering control

Facts and data to be utilised to identify adverse trends, responding with route cause investigation, corrective action and conclusion.

Leading analytical studies targeting process improvement

Creating a culture of awareness of, and commitment to the highest standards of quality & food safety and as such they must lead by example

Assisting in delivering the Technical Quality Pillar

You will need to hold a food science qualification or have the relevant experience, be HACCP Level 4 and Level 4 Food Safety qualified and ideally have experience of and be qualified in Internal Auditor training.

You will have knowledge of GFSI Food Assurance standards, e.g. BRC or ISO22000 and Retailer Food Safety and Product Integrity standards. Experience in HACCP, VACCP and TACCP risk assessments. Experience of dealing with major retailers and manufacturing groups and 3rd party audit processes.
