Trainer

£12.06 plus additional benefits Flexible Hours, Typically 8am – 4.30pm

We are looking to recruit a Trainer who will work as part of a team and play a key role in the delivery and development of training and training programmes for our workforce.

The site is operational 5 days a week; therefore, a flexible approach is a must to ensure that a consistent level of service is provided to all departments and shifts.

The suitable applicant will be required to:

Provide frontline training for all staff on site as required ensuring that all employees have the appropriate skills and knowledge to perform their duties.

Deliver training courses and conduct assessments to a professional and consistent standard.

Maintain standard operating procedures ensuring that food and personal safety are incorporated into it and ensuring they are signed off by all staff.

Assist in annually producing a training needs analysis identifying the training needs of all shop floor operatives on site, working closely with Training Manager/HR Manager/Production Managers.

Maintain records of all training delivered in a concise and orderly fashion. Providing the Training Manager with regular updates on training achieved, benefits of training, monthly evaluation summary and the planned training for the next period.

Ensure that legal requirements on food safety are met and maintained. Coordinate HACCP, CCP, GMP training on site, be aware of legislative updates.

Facilitate the induction of new employees and ensure that an appropriate training programme is prepared to equip new recruits with the skills needed to perform their job function and also assist them in settling into their new role quickly.

Work with outside providers as directed by the Training Manager providing recommendations on skilled or specialised training to address skill shortages on site.

Assist the Training Manager in coordinating an appraisal process for all employees.

Have the ability and desire to fill in for the Training Manager to cover workload and holidays, a self-starter who will look for improvements

Know all relevant and applicable Critical Control Points (CCP) in site operations.

You will have proven or be wanting to gain skills & experience to produce & deliver high quality customised/ flexible training solutions to meet the needs of our customers, including the creation of schemes of work, session plans and delivery resources that are innovative and engaging to learners.

Maintain continuing professional development and undertake any additional training as needed.

Support learners who may have specific needs and works creatively to overcome any barriers to learning.
