Bury St Edmunds enjoyed a day of treats, entertainment and games as part of a site fun day to thank colleagues for their hard work and dedication over the last year.

Jane Dawes, HR Manager, helped organise the day and explained: “The past year has been testing for everyone. But we also know our colleagues met the challenge and helped keep the site and the nation going with their commitment and hard work. Colleagues enjoyed an ice cream van, fun fair style games such as hook a duck, prizes and even a chance to throw a wet sponge at management in stocks The smiles were priceless and I want to thank everyone for helping out.”

Colleagues all gathered in the main drive way which was closed off for the day. Covid-19 controls were respected and everyone got a chance to get involved.

Tom Begg, Site Director, added: “We wanted to do something special, help lift spirits and give a huge thank you for everyone’s efforts. The past year has been challenging but I am very proud the way our team reacted. It was a carnival style atmosphere, with lots of laughing – just what the Dr ordered. I could see by all the smiles the day was very much appreciated. I want to personally thank everyone for all their work and I look forward to another great year.”
