The Bromborough team are once again championing awareness in their community thanks to a recent visit to a senior school to talk to students. The year eight students at Mosslands School were lucky enough to have an assembly with Pilgrim’s UK from Bromborough.

The assembly had careers focus and was led by Julian Weeks, Jenny Reed and Jamie Rimmer. The all-boys school also watched a video from the site discussed the various career opportunities in food Manufacturing and production.

Julian added: “Pilgrims UK has a fantastic local presence in Bromborough, and we want to ensure we spread this and ensure future generations are of what we do and the value we add to the area. Students had lots of interesting questions and we enjoyed listening to their insights. We hope to do more of these in the future and grow even stronger bonds in the future.”

The eager students also had the opportunity to complete an application form, to be selected to go to the site and complete a real-life tour, during the Autumn term! The site is also in talks to come into school and support their Food Technology departments too.
