During a glitzy evening last night (9th February) Corsham was crowned Site Team of Year at the prestigious Food Manufacture Excellence Awards. Our sister company, Moy Park, also bagged the Sustainability Award making the night a huge success.

Martin Bevan, Site Director and Jess Crudgington, Site Director Designate, were both on hand to collect the award alongside Jez Curtis, Engineering Manager and other Pilgrim’s UK colleagues.

Martin and Jess explained: “This is a huge honour, and we would like to dedicate this award to everyone at our site for helping us win. Our hard work and dedication are something we are very proud of. We work as a team and support one another towards our common goals ensuring we do our best to hit our targets and go above and beyond for our customers. The award will take pride of place at our site, and we will ensure the whole site are thanked accordingly for their contribution.”

The Food Manufacture Excellence Awards were founded to celebrate outstanding achievements within the UK’s fast-growing food and drink industry. Rewarding all elements of food and drink manufacturing, including environmental initiatives, business acumen, business change management, supply chain innovation, young talent and teamwork.

The Corsham team fought off fierce competition from across the sector to take the title. Martin and Jess added: “We also want to congratulate all the other winners and the award organisers for hosting such a fantastic night. Everyone had a wonderful evening and we got to listen and learn about all the amazing work others like us are doing across the industry; a great start to 2023.”
