The Bodmin team are once again reaching out into the community and are this time helping a dog charity called StreetVet. Thanks to the teams hard work they managed to raise £50 and lots of goodies such as dog food and toys.

The charity specialises in helping dogs whose owners are facing tough times finding housing and may find themselves homeless. An increasing number of homeless people have dogs, some of which need help from time to time.

Csilla Borondi , Training Assistant, added: “This is a great charity which makes a huge difference in our community, and I wanted to do what we can to help them. I want to thank everyone for their donations which included money and goods – all of which were warmly welcomed by the charity. I had an amazing response, and I am very glad the Bodmin team are once again showing their generosity and support for the local community.”

The bond between many homeless people and their dogs is profound and the health and wellbeing of their canine companions is often a major priority for their owners. Combined with the critical support of a host of renowned organisations backing our team of qualified professionals, StreetVet is changing the future for homeless dogs who may otherwise have to go without the care they need and deserve.
