The Ashton team have made a cracking effort to collect 57 Easter Eggs to donate to vulnerable children and those struggling. Stronger Together is delivering Easter eggs to financially struggling families, vulnerable children and adults including the local homeless community – bringing some light to many people this Easter.

Stronger Together is an umbrella initiative that consists of a number of local not-for-profit organisations, charities and community groups that have come together to aid and support vulnerable people.

Lucy Burns, Ashton Planning & Dry Goods Manager, wanted to support the charity after hearing about the good cause. She explained: “The charitable initiative has a goal of collecting 2,000 eggs. After hearing about the amazing cause, I knew I wanted to be involved. I asked colleagues to give what they could and I was thrilled with everyone’s efforts.”

The egg-cellent effort means sweet treats for children will be distributed by volunteers.

Lucy added: “I’d like to say a special thank you to everyone who has been involved in the donations for this appeal. This appeal will bring joy to our most vulnerable families and help create a moment of happiness and magic for the children and adults that receive them.”
