Site Services Engineer

We are currently looking for a Site Services Engineer to join our Engineering Department in Bromborough, working Monday – Friday.

You will be responsible for leading a motivated engineering team to deliver sustainable reliability of equipment through proactive maintenance and speed of response. Take ownership of the department whilst on shift maintaining systems essential to the operation of an efficient engineering department

Your job will include (but not limited to)

Execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities to agreed standards, always ensuring safe working.

Ensure all site assets are maintained to a high standard and meet sites requirements and are available at all times

Ensure a robust and clearly communicated safe system of work is applied for all activities that you undertake

To deliver on relevant Engineering Key Performance Indicators

To ensure engineering stock control on all parts used – booked out and accounted for correctly within the required systems.

Ensuring value for money from the way in which engineering funds are spent

Driving proactive continuous improvement activities – focussing on root cause analysis and process/production improvements

Coordination of exceptional activity such as product trials, project work, changes to standard working patterns etc

Conducts data analysis and is able to plot trends and spot opportunities

You will ideally have experience in a similar role and knowledge of production, processes and procedures, Apprenticeship or NVQ in Level 3 Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, IOSH, HACCP
