Spalding and King’s Lynn colleagues have donated a sack full of presents to children’s charity KidsOut – The Fun & Happiness Charity – as part of their festive community drive.

Sandra Wallace, Chair Person of the Works Committee for Spalding, helped organise the donations and explained: “KidsOut do some amazing work and perform miracles during this time of the year. Each year more than 20,000 children flee domestic abuse to seek sanctuary in refuge. KidsOut works to remind these children and thousands of others living with disadvantages what it is like to be children and just have fun.

“This year we worked with them to ask colleagues to donate gifts such as toys and games. The response was amazing and colleagues went above and beyond to show their support. I want to thank everyone for donating and we can’t wait to hand all these gifts over.”

Kat Royce, Training Manager at King’s Lynn, added: “I want to thank all our colleagues for doing their best to donate so many gifts and helping us support those in need this festive period – very proud of all our colleagues for helping and their kind words of support.”

Through their life-changing work, KidsOut gives disadvantaged children positive experiences to support them becoming future members of our society and workforce.
