The Linton have donated 2,480 chipolatas and 1,500 sausages to homeless charity Crisis to support them with their Christmas Lunches for those in need.

Kate Witherley, Linton HR Manager, said: “We have a great community spirit in Linton and as a site we are always keen to help those not as fortunate as us. We also know the difference a hot meal can make – more so at Christmas. Their four local centres will make good use of the chipolatas and sausages and we are glad we can help. I also want to thank our wider team for helping produce the products and for all those offering to help.”

Unfortunately, due to the economic impact , Crisis has seen a huge increase in people experiencing homelessness across the country. Each year they help thousands of people who are homeless and now, as the harshest time of year approaches, they’re busy getting ready to support as many people as they can.

Kate added: “Winter is always the hardest time for the homeless community, but charities like this make a huge difference and support in so many ways. We are proud to work with Crisis and look forward to supporting them more in the future.”
