The Spalding site was proud to take centre stage during last weekend’s Spalding Flower Parade, visited by around 200.000 people. The site sponsored the event which gave them a chance to have their own float, that displayed a large banner of the site – helping create further awareness in the community. Colleagues also helped during the making of the colourful float.

Spalding was known worldwide for its annual flower parade but sadly, due to lack of funding and support, it ceased to exist ten years ago. But the good news is that its back. The 2023 Flower Parade is organised and run purely with volunteers from our local community and the whole event is paid for by local businesses and sponsors.

Ashley Kay, Site Director, said: “This was a wonderful family fun day, and the weather made it even better. We are proud of our local roots and community and love getting involved. Flowers are big part of the local area and are part of our culture and identity so it’s great to see them celebrated. I want to thank everyone that supported the event.”
