We are pleased to announce that three of our products have won Q awards during the online ceremony recently. The winners included the Bronze award for our Aldi Specially Selected Cheese and Jalapeno Croquettes in the Vegetable Antipasti category, another Bronze Award in the Pork category for our Tesco Finest Korean Inspired Butterfield Pork Shoulder Joint. And finally, a Silver Award four our Co-op Lemon and Pepper Pork Steak which was also in the Pork category.

Sam Reader, Innovation & Product Director, said: “We were delighted to learn to have a hat trick of awards and have our products once again recognised by some of the best in the industry. The Q awards are regarded the pinnacle of success in the food awards industry, and we are extremely proud to walk away with the two awards in the Pork category award and one also for our Vegetarian product. The competition was tough and there were lots of great creations for judges to pick from, but we know judges saw something special in our products.

The awards celebrate the many great achievements within the industry and are seen as the industry gold standard.

Anna Egan, Senior Customer Innovation Manager, added: “Our Innovation team have been core in the launch of these products, and we must pass on a huge thank you to everyone involved. A great deal of credit also goes to our sites, which includes Ruskington and Bromborough sites, for working hard to produce these products. The sites have been working relentlessly to meet demand and they also deserve recognition.”
