Tulip Ltd has announced its intentions to rebrand as Pilgrim’s Pride Limited, from 31st August 2020.

Pilgrim’s Pride acquired Tulip in August 2019 in a deal worth £290m. The rebrand is part of Tulip’s integration plan as it looks to further adopt a common business vision with its parent company in relation to strategy, values, and methodology in ways of working.

The rebrand fits into Tulip’s long-term journey to create a sustainable business model for the future, with a supporting culture that benefits its people, its animals and the planet.

Andrew Cracknell, CEO of Tulip Ltd / Pilgrim’s Pride Limited: “Our companies share a rich heritage in agriculture and food production, with aligned values that put people and customers at the heart of everything we do. Following the acquisition, it was clear to us that completely integrating with Pilgrim’s Pride and fully adopting a shared vision was the right thing to do as we enter an exciting new phase for the business.

“From day one, Pilgrim’s Pride has bought into our organisation, our people and our ongoing recovery plan, so this a natural step as we look to realise our combined growth opportunities. The last 12 months has seen us make great strides as we work towards a more sustainable future and we firmly believe that our rebrand to Pilgrim’s Pride Limited puts us in the best possible position to continue this journey.”

From 31st August, Tulip will begin the process of a full visual and cultural rebrand to Pilgrim’s Pride Limited across its UK’s sites.
