We are proud to announce four colleagues have been shortlisted for three prestigious honours within the Women In Meat Awards 2021. But we need your help to ensure we walk away with the awards by casting you vote online before 17 September.

The 2021 awards follow last year’s success where four colleagues where shortlisted across two categories which included the Rising Star award and the Manufacturing/Processing award. This year’s finalists include:

Manufacturing/Processing
Linda Murphy – Senior Process Manager
Katarzyna Szynal – Dalehead Technical Manager

Training & Education
Siobhan Spruce – Head of Leadership and Development

Rising Star
Grace Cabarbaye – Dalehead Commercial Manager

In addition, Dalehead has also supported a nomination for Waitrose within the retailing award for Michelle Slade, Partner & Buyer, who we also hope walks away with the honour.

Andrew Cracknell, CEO, said: “I’m exceptionally proud that four colleagues have been acknowledged by these prestigious awards. To be nominated is a recognition that our employees are amongst the best. As a progressive organisation we lead by example, women within Pilgrim’s UK play an important role in every aspect of the business. These awards are also a way of encouraging other women who are thinking of entering the industry to see what is possible.

“We need every colleague to vote and help us bring home the gold. Make sure you spread the word and get your colleagues, friends and family all involved. The more we vote the better the chance.”

The winners will be announced on 18 November at the Hilton London Metropole during a glitzy evening. You can read through the finalists and cast your vote here – voting closes on 17 September.
